| The Power of Prayer Most of the people in this world follow a religion
and in many religions is a provision for communicating
with a deity. Christendom, especially Catholicism,
promotes the idea that mindless repetition of the
Lord’s Prayer is the accepted way to pray to their
nameless lord and that is exactly what they do. A lot!
This is not really what Jehovah, the true God, wants
from us. To worship Jehovah properly we need to
pray to our Heavenly Father, but not repetitiously.
After all, how would we like it if people came up to
us and muttered the same phrases to us over and over? People would not conceive of talking to other people like a
"broken record", so why do people treat The God who created
the universe as if He would like to hear monotonous repetition? Jehovah’s Son never taught that: "But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do:
for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking."
(Matthew 6:7) (King James Version)
People around the world love to pray repetitiously to their false
gods, so we should want to avoid being like them. When Christ
gave us the "Lord’s prayer", he made it plain that it was a guide
to go by: "Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth
what things ye have need of, before ye ask him."
(Matthew 6:8) (King James Version) What else do we need to know? A lot more than the bumbling preachers of Christendom teach!
Prayer should only be directed to Jehovah – as He requires –
not His Son or anybody else! 1 And God spake all these words, saying, 2 I am Jehovah thy God,
who brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
(Exodus 20:1-3) (ASV) Proper prayer to Jehovah is a serious business. If we want Jehovah
to listen to our prayers, we must do it the way He requires. Jehovah
has strict requirements but He doesn’t really ask for much! Most people know to pray to Jehovah in His Son’s name.
This is why: 6 Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life.
No one comes to the Father except through me."

But more importantly,
"If you ask anything in my name, I will do it."
(John 14:14) (New Living Translation) Most Christians are more than happy to pray to God in Jesus’ name.
About two billion Christians around the world pray to God in Jesus’
name every day. Their first mistake is praying to God without specifying
which God. Consequently, Jehovah may disregard their prayers. What is the second mistake? Oddly enough, it is praying in Jesus’ name! And why is that? Jehovah’s Son is not named Jesus! According to the

which in turn is the transliteration of the Hebrew Jeshua,

already aware that the Son of God’s name in Hebrew is
Yeshua or Jeshua. That is True enough. What else is true? "Joshuah" or "Jehoshuah" translates
as "The Salvation of Jehovah". "(Joshua) Yahshua/Yahushua/Yahoshua, is the
correct Name for the Savior. In all spellings and
pronunciation, the Name is rendered to mean
"salvation of YAH" or "YAH'S salvation/ (His)
Savior." The Name (Joshua) in its fullest translation
means, "He (YAH) shall save His people. (Yah or
Jah - is an abbreviation for Jehovah) (Just as Yeshua

attaching the name Ioesus to Yahshua gave

of the name, "Jehoshua". Now that we understand that, we
now know better than to pray to a nameless lord in Jesus’
name. Now that "The End" of this world is so near, people
have an extra incentive to pray to Jehovah is His Son’s actual
name as Bible prophecy requires. "Hail Zeus" or "Salvation of Jehovah"? ...this is what was said through the prophet Joel,
"And in the last days," God says... everyone who
calls on the name of Jehovah will be saved."

Lastly, we have a quaint way of ending our prayers

Hammon, reconstructed Egyptian Yamānu) was
the name of a deity, in Egyptian mythology, who
gradually rose to become one of the most important

prayers with the name of an Egyptian god! We can be sure that Jehovah does not want to hear that!
We can be equally sure that Jehovah does not want to
hear "Hail Zeus" either. Our Saviour already knew
well in advance and warned us all that many devout
followers would make grave mistakes based upon
their faulty knowledge. 22 On judgment day many will say to me, ‘Lord! Lord!
We prophesied in your name and cast out demons in your
name and performed many miracles in your name.’
23 But I will reply, ‘I never knew you. Get away from
me, you who break God’s laws.’

| Is God's Son Really God? There is a widespread belief by most Christians,
known as Trinitarians, that God's Son is God.
Why? What evidence is there that Christ is God, Himself? The lame evidence is shaky at best. Trinitarians rely
on only a few scriptures in the Bible to determine that Christ
is God and ignore many scriptures that contradict this belief.
For example, people have observed that “God said: ‘I am’
numerous times in the Old Testament.” In particular: And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM:
and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children
of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.
(Exodus 3:14) (King James Version) And ye shall keep my statutes, and do them:
I am the LORD which sanctify you.
(Leviticus 20:8) (KJV) Hearken unto me, O Jacob and Israel, my called;
I am he; I am the first, I also am the last.
(Isaiah 48:12) (KJV) Therefore, senseless people reasoned, if Christ says “I am”,
he must also be God too! Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you,
Before Abraham was, I am.
(John 8:58) (King James Version) Question: Who else said, “I am”? Answer: Everybody! The phrase “I am” occurs hundreds of times
in the Bible. Here are some notable examples: And it came to pass after these things, that God did tempt Abraham,
and said unto him, Abraham: and he said, Behold, here I am.
(Genesis 22:1) (KJV) And he said, Art thou my very son Esau? And he said, I am.
(Genesis 27:24) (KJV) And Moses said, The people, among whom I am, are

(John 10:30) (KJV) Does this mean that Christ and his Father are one God together? What does Christ say? 20Then you will know that I am one with the Father. You will
know that you are one with me, and I am one with you.
(John 14:20) (Contemporary English Version) My prayer for all of them is that they will be one, just as you
and I are one, Father--that just as you are in me and I am in
you, so they will be in us, and the world will believe you sent me.
(John 17:21) (New Living Translation) Maybe not. He just meant that Jehovah, His Son and the
followers are one in purpose, not one big group of gods. Did God's Son ever once say: “I am God! Worship me!” No such statement exists in the entire Bible. What does he actually say about his Father? "...but the world must learn that I love the Father and that
I do exactly what my Father has commanded me."
(John 14:31)(NIV) "…I have obeyed my Father's commands…"
(John 15:10)(NIV) So He said to him, "Why do you call Me good?
No one is good but One, that is, God…"
Matthew 19:17 (NIV) "This is because I have NEVER spoken on My own
authority or of My own accord or as self-appointed,
but the Father Who sent me has Himself given me
'orders' concerning what to say and what to tell."
(John 12:49) (Amplified Bible) What did the Apostles have to say about Christ?
Did they think he was God? It was at this time that He went off to the mountain to pray,
and He spent the whole night in prayer to God. "

was on earth, he begged God with loud crying and tears to
save him. He truly worshiped God, and God listened to his
prayers. Jesus is God's own Son, but still he had to suffer
before he could learn what it really means to obey God."
(Hebrews 5:7,8) (CEV) Does this mean that God has to learn how to obey Himself? That is stupid! People who want to believe that Christ is God have to
ignore a lot of scripture that clearly says otherwise. 6 who, although He existed in the form of God, did not
regard equality with God a thing to be grasped, 7 but
emptied Himself, taking the form of a bond-servant, and
being made in the likeness of men. (Philippians 2:6,7) (NASB) "Christ was humble. He obeyed God..."
(Philippians 2:8) (CEV) According to the scriptures, God spoke many times,
or was His Son a ventriloquist? 16As soon as Jesus was baptized, he went up out of the
water. At that moment heaven was opened, and he saw
the Spirit of God descending like a dove and lighting on
him. 17And a voice from heaven said, "This is my Son,
whom I love; with him I am well pleased."
(Matthew 3:16,17) (NIV) "Here is my servant whom I have chosen, the one
I love, in whom I delight; I will put my Spirit on him,
and he will proclaim justice to the nations."

them, and a voice from the cloud said, "This is my
Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased. Listen
to him!" 6When the disciples heard this, they fell face
down to the ground, terrified.

else, not even his son, to be God or equal to Him in any way.
But then, Jehovah has always been that way:

| Are Blood Transfusions Wise? 
Years ago people who had serious injuries or operations were
routinely given blood transfusions from blood donors. Today,
the Red Cross still collects and distributes donated blood products
for the purpose of transfusion in spite of the widespread medically
supported fact that the risks involved from donated blood
outweigh the benefits: "Many of those contributing to blood banks are people you
might not desire to drink from the same cup with, let alone
consume their blood into your circulatory system. Some
critics of transfusions argue that it is nothing more than a
modern form of cannibalism."

The New England Journal of Medicine, 322-11:777. It is now the 21st century and the Red Cross still conducts
blood drives to promote blood as "life giving" without discussing
how many people have died from their products. The Red Cross
does not guarantee that their blood products are pure and safe
because they cannot guarantee that the donors are suitable. According to the Red Cross of Southern California,
the good news is: “Since the Red Cross began testing blood for the HIV-
antibody in early 1985, the risk of HIV-contaminated
blood entering the blood supply has dropped dramatically.
According to latest medical research, the chance of
receiving an HIV-infected transfusion is estimated to

transfusion each year.” From: http://www.socalredcross.org/facts/facts.html Since the Red Cross cannot guarantee that the blood they collect
is completely safe they have to admit that the chances are
that 1-2 recipients will become infected with HIV each year.
This is indeed a very low risk, but small consolation to these
patients who will now certainly suffer and die from AIDS. Fortunately, this practice is obsolete. New techniques and
non-blood substitutes such as Ringer’s Lactate are widely
available. These artificial blood products are pure. The recipient’s
chance of acquiring hazardous diseases from them are zero.
Medical experts are constantly discovering new blood substitutes

medical procedures and numerous hospitals report that the result

marked by Christendom's trading the truth of Christ and his
apostles for "Babylon the Great" - the lies of ancient Babylon. The stake he died on would be traded
for the "Cross" of the pagans. The resurrection to eternal earthly life would be traded
for the immortality of the human soul, purgatory, and
the hellfire of Ancient Babylon. The worship of the Almighty God Jehovah through His mediator,

The Protestant Churches broke away from the Catholic Church
but retained most of these pagan traditions. This spiritual blindness
would exist for a period of time - until the time of "The End". Was everyone fooled? Most Christians are clueless but the experts are not fooled! Nominal Christians worship a Trinity god named Jesus. Why? "The doctrine that Jesus Christ the Son of God - was God the son -

"Once saved, always saved!" has become a highly popular

A Holiday For Christians?  One of the most popular "secular" holidays
in the world is Halloween. Christians observe
the festivities without a second thought and
yet the day has undesireable roots. According to Wikipedia online: "The term Halloween, originally spelled Hallowe’en,
is shortened from All Hallows’ Eve (both even and
eve are abbreviations of evening, but Halloween
gets its n from even) as it is the eve of "All Hallows’
Day",[10] which is now also known as All Saints’ Day.
It was a day of religious festivities in various
northern European pagan traditions,[11] until Popes
Gregory III and Gregory IV moved the old Christian feast
of All Saints’ Day from May 13 (which had itself been the
date of a pagan holiday, the Feast of the Lemures) to
November 1. In the 9th century, the Church measured
the day as starting at sunset, in accordance with the
Florentine calendar. Although All Saints’ Day is now
considered to occur one day after Halloween, the two

to think about and celebrate October 31 as a holiday. The question is, is it a good idea? The ancient Celts believed that on October 31, now known as
Halloween, the boundary between the living and the deceased
dissolved, and the dead become dangerous for the living by
causing problems such as sickness or damaged crops. The
festivals would frequently involve bonfires, into which the
bones of slaughtered livestock were thrown. Costumes and
masks being worn at Halloween goes back to the Celtic
traditions of attempting to copy the evil spirits or placate
them, in Scotland for instance where the dead were
impersonated by young men with masked, veiled or

freed to roam about the earth; it is considered the
best time to contact spirits"

entire Bible. However, there are other things that are
mentioned that apply to people who wish to adhere to
Bible principles: 27 Pure and lasting religion in the sight of God our
Father means that we must care for orphans and
widows in their troubles, and refuse to let the
world corrupt us.

leave it for good," says God. "Don't link up with
those who will pollute you. I want you all for
myself."
(2Corinthians 6:17) (Message Bible) In spite of the wide availability of this information,
many churches of Christendom sanction parties and
festivals every October 31 in which children and adults
wear costumes usually of hideous creatures and even
the church ministers participate! Why do so many people in the world embrace
such obviously pagan customs? 1 You can be certain that in the last days there will be
some very hard times. 2 People will love only themselves
and money. They will be proud, stuck-up, rude, and
disobedient to their parents. They will also be ungrateful,
godless, 3 heartless, and hateful. Their words will be cruel,
and they will have no self-control or pity. These people
will hate everything that is good. 4 They will be sneaky,
reckless, and puffed up with pride. Instead of loving God,
they will love pleasure. 5 Even though they will make a
show of being religious, their religion won't be real. Don't
have anything to do with such people.
